The Honorary Fellow status shall
be conferred to few scientists who have accomplished exceptional and
prize-worthy contributions in terms of major discoveries and inventions
in Psychophysiology and related neurosciences. The Honorary Fellowships
shall be approved by the Board of Directors of I.O.P.
These criteria shall be at least one of the following:
1) Major discovery,
invention and development of new experimental method(s) of proven
effectiveness which experimentally elucidate the understanding of
functions and processes.
2) Major discovery
of unknown functions and processes and elucidation of these through
long-term experimental research and evidence.
3) Major discovery, invention and
development of new diagnostic method(s) of proven effectiveness
through long-term research and evidence.
4) Major discovery,
invention and development of new therapeutic treatment method(s) of
proven effectiveness through long-term research and evidence.
